As much as it pains me, baseball at Mizzou just isn't a big deal right now. Softball is actually a much hotter ticket than baseball.
That said, that LSU series should be a good weekend of baseball. Mizzou will have a good, for them, crowd on the Saturday you picked - probably around 2000.
The reasons for that are two fold. Tanner Houck will be Mizzou's Saturday starter. Don't let that fool you, he's good enough to be the Friday guy on a vast majority of college baseball teams. Only reason he doesn't start on Friday is because Reggie McClain, last season's Friday guy, is back again this season. Houck, as sophomore, is already getting projected as a 1st round draft pick in 2017.
The other reason is because on Saturday's, little league teams get in for free if they wear their jersey's, so there should be lots of kids running around the ballpark that day.
Maybe we'll see you there. The family took advantage of those $80 season ticket bleacher seats! The weekend also falls on a weekend where we won't be playing baseball so we'll actually get to enjoy the games.

What does a season ticket go for?

MLB is better experience compared to NCAA baseball.
Do you really think that needs to be stated

Mizzou softball:
1. Family Four Pack: $160. Baseball = to that is $150
2. GA tickets: $140 for four versus the $80 for four in baseball.

Missouri is one of the few states where MLB is more popular than the NFL.
Eh that's definitely true for the eastern half of the state. The Chiefs are still a huge deal in the western half though. Even with the Royals recent dominance, the Chiefs are still just as popular if not more popular than the Royals in KC IMO.

Seems more in line for SEC softball than SEC baseball.
Cool the women draw way more than the men. Doesn't softball have a WCWS from the pre merger Big 8 days? Too tired to look it up right now, but seems TAMU and MU had softball success prior to SEC membership.

I was there year before last. Low attendance at Mizzou games. My ticket was either $5 or $10 each, entered the stadium and the attendant told us the chair backs were for season ticket holders but that we could sit there. He just asked that we move should the ticket holder show up.
We sat first row, right beside LSU's dugout. Never were asked to move.
Hoping our travel baseball schedule works out so that we can attend again this year.

I think Chiefs fans disagree with you on that one.

7 WCWS appearances, including 3 straight from 2009-2011. Been to the NCAA tournament every year since 2003 except for '06

Haven't seen a baseball game at Mizzou in about 45 years when my cousin was pitching for them. I've heard the facilities have been upgraded significantly but don't remember much about attendance. I did meet Sonny Siebert when I was a little kid while he played at Mizzou.

Planning on going to Columbia April 16 when LSU is playing Missouri.
Having a bit of trouble navigating their ticket site. Anybody know enough about their baseball attendance to know if I need to purchase tickets in advance?
You won't have any problems getting tickets. If you're bored after the Saturday game, Mizzou's spring game is 5:00 on that weekend.

Seems like Mizzou was a baseball power back in the day. Looked on the NCAA Div 1 baseball site they had 6 CWS appearances back in the day. What the hell happened to get a big drop off to not get any appearances since the 60's.

Including a national championship.

Yup.
Over 13 seasons between 1952 and 1964, Mizzou made 6 CWS appearances (1952, 1954, 1958, 1962, 1963, 1964). They were the national runners-up 3 times (1952, 1958, 1964), and they were the national champions once (1954).
Then...they disappeared from the CWS and haven't been back since.

If rotation holds, that will be a Lange/Houck matchup & has the potential to be a great game.

I was more or less talking about the Cardinals. real baseball.

Gotcha
We try to get up there at least once a year to see the Cardinals.
I was once told by my Grandfather that people in St Louis grew up with a beer in one hand and a scorecard in the other.
