I doubt there's really much difference between Swayze and Baum outfields, especially during SEC play.

They're both really good student sections.

From what I've seen OM MSU and Arkansas probably have the best. OM's looks like my favorite though. The support both MS schools give their baseball programs really is awesome

Agreed. The terraces make watching the game really easy for a lot of people at Swayze. The ss at Baum looks like fun too.

Yeah I hope they terrace ours as a part of the next renovation/expansion. As it is now, its pretty much just a sloping field. I know we are supposed to get an "around the outfield" concourse like they have at Carolina, and that will be nice, too.

It looks like terracing is part of the master plan, but so is another 12-15 suites which will displace part of the present student area. We have more suites per capita at all of our venues than anybody else. I guess we love suites. Being a fast growing region with lots of large and growing companies (and banks fighting to serve them), they seem to always sell no matter how many we build.

out of the big 3 sports I always had the most fun at baseball games as a student. fold out chair, cooler of beer, pack of smokes, sundresses, baseball. doesn't get much more American than that.

Baseball at Baum is responsible for my addiction to: Kettle Korn, Natural Light in a solo cup, and couches on rollers.

Auburn's Plainsmen Park

Sections 53-73 along with 111 are designated as student sections. Also, we're allowed on the Tiger Terrace, which has lounge chairs and tables between them along with a few picnic tables. You can bring your own food and drinks (no alcohol). It's a 3 level terrace. The fence along the top level is right in front of the parking deck. A crowd usually gathers at the fence with lawn chairs, grills, and alcohol to watch the games. It's not as good of a vantage point as being in CF, but they're definitely not bad seats.

As for the atmosphere of it, it's been pretty good for the 2 games (Wednesday and Friday this week) with us earning our first middle finger of the season Wednesday.

ASU has the most hostile venue in the PAC-12. Though if our HC doesn't get his act together, fans will start to boo at the players. Philadelphia Phillies style.
