Tennessee still ranked in the top 15 is a joke. They were swept by a team picked to finish last and the games weren't even close.

What is the justification for putting Tennessee at 11 and Missouri at 18? Tennessee hasn’t beaten a power 5 team. Meanwhile missouri beat Texas, TCU, and swept the Vols

Baseball rankings are always very slow to adjust.

Figured it would happen sooner rather than later winning 14 straight and getting a sweep in conference play.

Would love for this to be where Mingione turns things around.

SEC is going to be a grind for Mizzou, but they deserve the rankings after this start and sweep. Their pitching and bullpen is as good as any. They have some guys with pop, but I don't know if they can get it consistently throughout the lineup.

Baseball America is a joke, no way Tennessee should be ranked ahead of us after this past weekend.

Baseball rankings by design are hellbent on justifying preseason rankings until they can’t justify it anymore. They have to validate their expertise relative to competitors by giving some teams more benefit of the doubt than others

To a certain extent, sure, but not as bad as baseball. Because of the format of a 52 game season plus conference tournament, regional, supers, and CWS, it allows polls to say “well they just haven’t gotten hot yet” or “they’re in a lull right now but we think they’ll turn it on when it counts” and they could drop 3/5 series in that span.

Football, you lose once or twice and you’re dropped whether they want to validate the ranking or not

2 losses in football = 8-9 losses in baseball.

We're about ~5 games into the baseball season if we keep that ratio. UT would be 4-1 and currently down at halftime in game 6.

Hate to say it but Tennessee maintaining their lofty status proves these polls are a joke.

Normally it's the ACC who is overrated but ... it's actually embarrassing to see Tennessee still ranked as high as they are in all three of those polls.
