What will it take in the last two series (Bama and UF) for Auburn to host? 4 out of 6?

Auburn is already #15 in the RPI. So winning the last two series with one of them being Florida would help their case a good deal. A little run in the SEC tournament might be necessary as well.

I wonder if they sweep Bama and lose the Florida series 1-2 still going 4-2 over the last 6 is the same as winning the last two series. No telling how the committee views this.

So here is Auburn's resume.

31-17 (12-12)
RPI - 15
SOS - 2
vs top 25: 7-8
vs 26-50: 3-3
Bad Losses: Binghamton (171), Jacksonville State (155), and Samford (108)
Series Wins: Binghamton, Radford, Xavier, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia, South Carolina.
Series Losses: Texas A&M, LSU, Venderbilt, Arkansas

A nice record vs top 25. 10 wins vs the top 50. However you have a losing record overall vs top teams and few bad losses mixed in on the weekends. When you look at series match ups Auburn has lost to every single good team its faced. Ole Miss may be the only series win over a team making a regional. The good thing is, Auburn has an oppertunity to make noise with Florida and to a lesser extend Bama left on the schedule. If Auburn can finish 5-2 with a series win over UF then I think you'll have a great argument to host. 37 wins before the SEC tourney, 9-9 record vs top 50, RPI of of around 10 (can make top 8 if you go 6-1 with 4 home wins, 2 road wins).
