How many category 4+ starts will Cohen try to get out of a carrier reliever?

What the hell is a category 4+ start and a carrier reliever?
A category 4 start on the pitcher abuse scale is 122-132 pitches.

A carrier reliever is someone like Mitchell who has had little to no starting experience or conditioning.

Oh ok. I have actually heard of the pitcher abuse points system.

Never heard of the term carrier reliever? Do you have a link to that term somewhere? Or is this your own personal term?

Too low. They should be 10-15.

Mitchell has some starting experience. Also has a ton of conditioning. The kid only throws 80 with no effort. He doesn't even break a sweat out there. He could easily throw 7+ innings every appearance if he wanted to. To say the kid can't go that long and if he does than it's abuse, is just plain stupid.

It's cool to be #1, but everybody is gunnin' for them this early. We'll be everyone's World Series as long as we are.

Mitchell has gone 6+ in relief for us before...I don't think it's a big deal if he pitches at the start of the game instead.

He's pretty much a starter. He just doesn't have the mindset of being first on the mound. He's said many times that he's way more comfortable coming into the second inning than starting.

I would say it should be a great game...

Then I remembered it's baseball, and there's no such thing as a great game in baseball.

An Alabama fan in a thread making fun of baseball?

Huh. Now I really *have* seen everything.
