What you quoted + being short + bad coverage skills = NFL meh

His lack of coverage skills is greatly over exaggerated. He was in the correct position during the NC game the balls were just perfectly placed to be caught by yalls taller receivers. Credit to AJ and yalls receivers for taking advantage of it.

I haven't read, but I am sure this has resulted in a flame thread between LSU and Bama fans.

Yes being able to qoute a satire article making fun of the tides Barron comparing him to their current enemy number 1 Tyrann Matheiu was all too easy for trolling the gumps

And Bama's wrs weren't exactly outstanding. He got worked in a couple of games. Seems like UT was one. Just don't see him doing well against the likes of Colston, Green, Julio, R. White, Steve Smith, etc. He could be a hell of a cover corner but his size alone is gonna hurt em against big, fast, and physical receivers.

Eta: TM is an outstanding CFB player. A playmaker that can change a game. Just not sure that he'll be all that in the NFL.

Jesse Tuggle/Prince Miller/Asher Allen are playmakers in college. No doubt. They don't have the cover skills or size for the pro game.

Hmm.

Why the hell are you getting popcorn out after quoting a satirical piece? The guy also said to pass on RG3. Did you scroll all the way down just to find the LSU players, copy and paste here, and hope a shitstorm erupts?

I like TM7 too, but 1st round is a bit high

Especially if he doesn't develop the ability to defend against tall, athletic receivers and good QBs. McCarron and Norwood took Mathieu to the woodshed. Mathieu is certainly a talent as a return man, but the country saw that good QBs and tall athletic receivers can literally throw on him all night long.

Yep. Purely because of size he wont be drafted by someone looking for a lockdown corner. Hes going to have to be drafted by a team looking to move him to FS or have a "thinking outside the box" type of staff and use him like he currently is: a rover nickel back blitzing etc. and not force him into being a standard CB outside.

so basiscally when TM7 plays an entire year and never allows a WR to catch a pass within 5 yards of him, he will then, and only then, be good enough to be a first rd draft pick.

amirite?

If Bama fans were NFL scouts:
This 5'10 Polamalu guy just doesn't have the size to do anything at this level.

TM7 gives up like 2-3 catches vs UT and he "got worked"

Also, some of the routes in the NC game TM7 "got beat" on were crossing routes. Crossing routes are meant to beat man to man coverage.

Remember that time Reuben Randle showed that a big physical receiver caused trouble for Mark Barron and he "worked" him. I bet that guy goes undrafted. Same with that time that Julio Jones guy exposed Patrick Peterson. What a bust.
