He was not going to return, but Chizik had already said if he wanted to stay then he could. He had already graduated, so he didn't feel the need to return to back up someone. I also had a friend in Auburn that talked to him and she said basically the same.
He has a career to look forward to, and I hope he continues to help lead kids to Jesus Christ. He's a great speaker.

“My four years at Auburn has been a great experience and I’m thankful for the opportunities that I’ve had, however, I have decided to forgo my senior season,” Trotter said. “I’m truly blessed to have been a part of winning seasons and championships during my time at Auburn. I’m also very appreciative of Coach Chizik and the coaching staff, as well as my teammates and the entire Auburn family.”

This was known after the UGA game.

No way, brah. We are processing a player that could very well start next season. Forget that we have known this would happen for a while now.

Trotter isn’t expected to declare for the NFL Draft. He earned his degree in communications from Auburn in August of 2011 and is currently enrolled in graduate school at Auburn.

Kind of surprised he didn't transfer out to go to grad school and play one more year. Good for him.

Auburn fans are a joke. They start a thread about Saban being a dick and cheating and then bitch when Alabama fans poke fun of a kid who quits football with a year of eligibility left. Look it's not a big deal that he's leaving but chill out, the gumps in here are just kidding.

did he have any eligibility left?

The door was open for him to play, and he didn't want to. He's still at Auburn in grad school.

"they" can't go to a school together in the PAC 12. Arik can go to Washington, but armond can't.

It can't hurt the Barn team for a shite caliber player like Trotter to be processed/self-processed.
You guys are just a bitter bunch.
