Lol. What?

You do know that Whit has been a starting NFL lineman for like 7 years now, right? And has played LT for the last five years or so. There aren't many of those.

After further analysis of the game, Nealy was getting the best of Jones at times, but he was never dominating BJ. He was just giving him more trouble than anyone else to this point.

Come on guys one bad game doesn't make him a bad player. He had a bad game and we still ran the ball well. We needed another week before aTM. They are a very good team and we were still recovering from the LSU game.

There was 1 play where Jones got completely beat and the nose tackle was in the backfield in less than a second...was a very impressive play

Agreed and not saying he's a bad player. I was honetly curious if there was one play in particular I should see that really stuck out. It seemed to be the consensus at the time that he got beat real bad.

Um...no? Only a fool takes offense when there's no offense intended.

Spencer Nealy did well against him. Nealy is a good player but by no means a dominant force

He was Sat. His speed kept Jones on his heels. Sumlin is a really good coach and they did a great job scouting weaknesses and exploited them well.

It's pretty obvious he changed positions to help his team. No matter how good he is, its tough to be as dominant at a new position as he was before.

Yeah, the most awesome play was when he drove Jones backward for several steps and then tackled the RB as soon as McCarron handed the ball off.

That play sent a collective WTF? through the stadium.

Was at the game last night and just watched the tape... How the frick did this guy win the Outland? Spencer is a good DLman but by no means all conference. Spencer beat him repeatedly and even Danielson took notice. Best game I've seen Nealy play as an inside technique (most of his career he's played a 5 or 7 technique).

I should have clarified. Whitworth has really had a great NFL career, but while At LSU was really overhyped for his performance on the field. Must gave gotten better coaching post LSU.

He won the Outland at Left Tackle, and the year before was an All-American guard. This is his first full season playing center, don't know if he ever played it in highschool.

He played it once in a High School All Star game, that's it.

Im not a Bama fan...so rather impartial, but I watched most of the second half of the A&M vs Bama game and recorded the first half.

What I saw was A&M stacking the line with as many nine guys (some dropping back of course)covering wrs and making them pay when balls were caught, Cooper got dinged up and the passing game went south. They made McCarron uncomfortable in the pocket and Johnny Football was able to make most of his reads...and he is slick as an eel.

I thought Bama would come back after they scored and got the mojo and crowd noise behind them..in the first qt it was like a morgue at BDS.

Bama doesnt have the pass rush from the DL like UF, UGA & LSU has...it has to bring LBs and creates mismatches. A&M is very good at jailbreak screens, flanker screens, slants and quick outs that are extremely hard to cover and easy for the qb to throw quickly.

Wake me up when Barrett fricking Jones signs a 5 year, $31,000,000.00 (USD) contract in the NFMFL to play Left Tackle.

Whitworth got that much from one of the most notoriously skinflint organizations in the League, and don't look now but Cincy is an AFC Playoff Team from last year that just beat the shite out of the Two-Time Super Bowl Champs 31-6 today while Barrett was watching himself on film having his lunch money taken away repeatedly in BDS.
