True - but problem with the ole miss deal is when they decided to get the $$ flowing they did it like it was still the 1950's - the jackasses were not to subdued in their approach - and now they might fook it up for the rest of us!

Not sure if it's on Mullen, but it isn't impossible to imagine it. Most believe he was the source of the Cam Newton leak when the summer investigation via the SEC went in a direction he didn't like and then Auburn used Cam to beat him.

MSU was starting to lose the in state recruiting battle so taking down your
main rival was tempting. It's not like MSU has a lot of success recruiting out of state.
There is a lot of football talent in Mississippi so with Ole Miss out of the picture the rest
of the SEC especially the SEC West really benefits. Short term gains but in the long run
it hurts the SEC to have programs turning each other in.

The OM investigation began in 2012 when the NCAA found their academic fraud while investigating ULL. At least 10 schools and 40 student-athletes have been part of the investigation.

No they were not. MSU was dominating the shite out of Ole Miss. Dan Mullen made a public statement that MSU would never lose to Ole Miss again as long as he was there. Ole Miss boosters got pissed off and started a system of rampant cheating.

No sir, it actually hurts the integrity of the sport when programs decide that rules do not apply to them. Ole Miss is desperate to point the finger at MSU as if it's their fault the ncaa is opening a can of whoop arse in Oxford. Some rebels insist it's Nick Saban's fault even though he is the only coach in the conference who isn't using this situation to negatively recruit against Freeze. It's time to man up rebels and accept some responsibility for your own actions.

Hugh Freeze is on record saying how frustrating it is that everyone is using it to recruit against him. Everyone except Nick Saban and Alabama that is. But most people believe Freeze to be a liar so there is that.

Cam was planning to play for Mullen. But, Cecil stepped in and decided it was going to cost someone. He ended up at Auburn, because Auburn knows how to handle these things.
