I wouldnt call that burnt orange. Besides, its not as bad as when Billy Gillespie wore a belt with the A&M logo on the buckle while coaching at Kentucky.

From what I heard, he hit all the right notes - talked about his experiences talking basketball with Coach Pat Summitt, Coach Ray Mears, and how much he loved the Ernie and Bernie show. Also, he talked about all the trips he made to campus and going to football games here when his then-girlfriend invited him and getting to see Condredge Holloway play.

For some reason, as soon as it went to the Q&A the microphones went nuts. He went through 4 and eventually local news gave up. I think one of the press folks must've turned something on for that accidentally interfered with the mics because the one thing UT has always been good at is pressers. Gotta love technology.

UT typically records these tho so hopefully we can watch the presser that way later. If not, local news channels are doing their own Q&A interviews which may well be better than the presser since all the tv stations will get to ask question.

I wouldn't go that far but it's always something with UT. Get the hire right but frick up the presser somehow even tho what we could hear was great, imo.

In this case, I don't even think it was the university's fault. We have one of the better AV depts. and there's simply no way 4 mics were bad. Someone's tech or news tech interfered accidentally with those mics.

We arent allowed to get rid of that garbage until July 1st.

On July 2nd, NGAVol will be dropping a chunk of change on some polos and pullovers

I like Adidas. They've done well by us in both football and hoops. What I don't like about Adidas tho' is their fan gear sucked and what good stuff they offered fans was hard to find. Team gear was cool but not the fan gear.

Nike, OTOH, will do fan gear right and is obviously a much more popular brand. BUT for a long time Nike wasn't willing to pay us nearly as much as Adidas.

Look at who else showed up for Barnes' presser. He wore his best pimp jacket for the occasion

Whoa. If that's who it looks like and think it is that's big (he could have an unlikely twin). Huge endorsement just by being there.

Agreed 100% about the fan gear. Their golf polos and pullovers are downright atrocious and all the t-shirts had some cartoonish bullshite on them similar to the crap you see Gumps strutting around in.

The football uniforms have admittedly looked very good the past two years but it was just too little too late imo. I'm sure you remember the godawful crap they sent UT for the prior 7 or 8 years. There was a different shade of orange on each piece of the uniform.

frick them. Plus, Nike has that swag that all the recruits want. There's a reason fans, current players and recruits are so pumped about the move to Nike.
