the state guys here on the rant might be overly confident
I can assure you that I'm not one of these. In fact I have stated in several other threads that IF State can win this game I will be tickled to death. Nothing easy in the SECW especially on the road. Auburn is loaded with young talent and if they gain some momentum and confidence early in the game then State will be in trouble.

Can I answer this in the third quarter of the game?

not confident at all on a 10 scale, i'll say 3 or 3.5... up from a 2 a couple days ago.

we don't match up that well... we can't stop the run, and strugglel to run... State's gonna run some HUNH and we're gonna struggle to get aligned properly. Plus they've had an extra couple days of rest.

my confidence has gone up over the week

but I still think we drop a close one

then again, I'm all-aboard the Gus Bus so I'm expecting big things offensively

side note, anyone know if Eltoro is playing? I remember when AU posters used to cream their pants to pics of him in uniform...what a letdown

What's up with Auburn and bad luck with stud LB's beaver? First Blackmon and now Eltoro.

I don't even want to think about it

WMFC had to go and get his degree and totally ditch us so now we're screwed at LB

It should be at 0 because we're going to crush you!!!!! WAHHOOO!! GOO DAWWGSS!!!!

Kidding..

Auburn and MSU has played some close games over the last few years. I think 3 out of 4 have been decided by 3 points or less.

Auburn needs this game to be high scoring.

The aftermath of this game is going to be unbearable on here no matter who wins.
no doubt. We aubs are going to be unbearable if we pull this one out. State fans have been unbearable all summer and it will only get worse with a win this week.

Shouldn't be too high after last week. Especially after relying on an onside kick to win.

I'll just simply state this. State ran around 4 total offensive plays last week and scored at will, pulling starters in 3rd. Defense was without 2 starters the entire game. Given Memphis is pretty terrible, then again so is a 4-8 Utah State team. MSU played on road and AU at home. Auburn better be able to score 42 in this one or it will be a long day on the Plains. Also, MSU didn't show one blitz the entire game while AU had to pull out all stops to come from behind from a inferior opponent. Unless Chizik has another $200k QB he's hiding, its gonna be a long day and the Orange and Blue faithful will be leaving well before they did against Utah Junior College.

I must say that Cam was the best $250k investment I've seen in recent memory. Look at team Before Cam, during Cam, and after Cam. That explains it all. Doesnt take a Bama grad to figure that one out.

A 6 which is lower than before the season (8)...

May go up to a 7 by game time....
At home, Gus, high scoring game, turnovers, special teams give me hope...

If Chiz came out and said he's gonna take over duties for the defense, my confidence level would be at about a 5 out of 10. It's at about 1. That being I think our offense has the ability to score.

It looks like from your post you are stuck in a time warp. All the good and shitty Cam jokes have been used. Thank you and GFY.
