There isn't a President I wouldn't be honored to meet.

But, there haven't been too many Presidents that I've really thought did a decent job.

It appears that you've run out of butt-putty.

It's funny how Saban seems ecstatic in every photo with Obama while he turned down a personal dinner invitation with Bush back when he was the president.

Is that true?

If that's true then Saban is a douche ... and until now I always thought he was great.

Explains why Spurrier fricked with him all the time I guess.

I'm surprised that Bama fans put up with an Obama supporter for a coach. Is it common knowledge?

I guess you can take the midget socialist outta the Midwest but you can't take the Midwest outta the midget socialist.

Yep, Saban is a socialist.

He wants all of his players to have a national championship.

You're full of shite. Nobody with half a brain would decline meeting with the president, unless you've already met him. That's an incredible honor that a fractional of a percentage of the world's population gets to experience. Don't give a shite what your political ideologies are. That's a dumb thing to say.

Commie bastard.

I've seen the exact situation you're talking about, at an Army-Navy game with President Bush and the craziest liberal Bush=hater you've ever seen. When you actually get there you realize the enormity, you are meeting the most famous and powerful man in the world, you will pretty much piss your pants in excitement.

If this is the case, then one needs to get a grip. We are a society that has so little self esteem that our self worth comes from our "idols". Like my dad used to tell me, even the leader of the free world "shits behind two heels like the rest of us".

Saban's from West Virgina. That's not the Midwest, and he wasn't in MSU for that long.

No doubt. If he had the ball, he threw it at the defender and threw his hands up in order to avoid being hit.

I'm far from being a democrat, but you are an idiot if you would turn down meeting the president.

Couldn't care less if his biography was titled The Communist Manifesto, or if he worships Obama. He's a damn fine football coach, and that's what we hired him to be. Politics don't make a shite. Football IS politics in Alabama. It's responsible for a chunk of the economy, and I can't think of a single person who would give two shits about who Saban votes for.

That's even worse - he's a hard corp progressive then.

Damn, I real hate that I learned this tonight. I wish I hadn't ... I really liked Saban

I am right there with you rogue and I wouldn't even be respectful about it. Respect is earned and that fool has just about finished the country off.

Yeah, that's dumb. I understand not being star struck, as I'm not that type, but it'd still be a cool experience nonetheless.

I once told Denzel Washington he wasn't Denzel Washington.

(I felt like an idiot when I found out he really was Denzel Washington)

It would have been great if he would have just said "my man" and just walked off.
