I can't wait to see that top scoring defense this weekend. I would imagine the Bama defense would look good when considering that the best scoring offense they have played since week three is ranked 46th followed by the 91st, 90th, 101st, and GSUs offense.

But the last time they played a good offense (A&M) that superb D have up 42 points and a third of a mile in yardage. And LSU has a QB with a higher QBR and better arm than A&M, an all around better RB than A&M, and two outstanding receivers compared to A&Ms one.

Yeah..... I just hope LSU can get a field goal or two. *laugh*

You know if you took these numbers for all of the other top scoring defenses, you'd get similar results, right? I seriously think you idiots don't realize this.

Alabama's offense is ranked in the low 30s, for reference.

Tell me... what great offenses has LSU faced?

Georgia ranks 39th. Ole Miss 43rd.

TCU - 103
UAB - 93
Kent State - 66
Auburn - 10
Georgia - 39
Mississippi State - 52
Florida - 113
Ole Miss - 42
Furman - NA

So... Auburn is the best offense they've faced up to date.

But seriously. The last quality offense they played shredded them to pieces. I just don't understand how no one seems to be giving LSU a chance when they match up very well with Bama and have won what? 5 out of the last 6 in Tuscaloosa?

Considering:
1.) LSU has one thing to play for and that's to frick Bama up while Bama still has SEC and BCS hopes to focus on.
2.) LSU just got its first bye week after playing 9 straight games so that D was definitely worn out in the most recent games
3.) LSUs offense will be the most dynamic Bama has faced all year.

I actually find myself more confident that LSU wins this game than I was about the UGA game and the Florida game.

LSU 37
Bama 24

Okay so 6 of the offenses LSU has played are higher ranked than the past 5 offenses Bama has played, what are you showing me?

That your defense is giving up much higher numbers against similar ranked offenses.

Ole Miss is 43rd, not 46th.

So you started the list at week 3, and then WE were immediately accused of cherry picking stats?

I think Bama just got careless in the 4th. If Bama played like they did the rest of the game without the stupid fumbles by Yeldon, that game would have been 63-35.

While I think LSU will be able to put up points on Bama, the difference between Mett and Manziel is astronomical in college football.

Something tells me Mett wont go for 550 yards and 5 TDs...
