He "resigned" because he didn't do shite after 3 years of taking over the UGA program when CSY retired.

Like it has been previously stated in this thread: schools usually have a couple of down years following a legendary coach resigning/retiring.
He's widely regarded as the best recruiter in gymnastics. In fact, a couple of years ago ESPN ranked him as a top 10 recruiter in all of collegiate athletics. We have two potential olympians signed for 2015 (One is already an olympian for Britain, the other is trying out for USA) amongst some other elite recruits.
Firing a coach after 3 seasons is hilarious. It's our gain in the end, so spin it however you'd like

I'm friends with the new Alabama coach's husband who is a great guy and with Dana. Dana will do well. Very intelligent, very high energy woman with an outgoing personality. She has the energy and personality to promote the program in the same way Patterson did which is a big part of being a successful gymnastics coach.
