Honestly, I would throw a high high jump-ball inside the 5 yard line. If my receiver somehow got it, great. But lsu's ball-hogging dbacks will prolly pick it off and be down inside the 5

Naw, think about it. If he punts, he has to put it into the end zone to avoid a run back and chance of score or at minimum improved field position.
If he kicks the field goal he has a chance at a score and when he misses it only cost him 16 yds for a chance at a score and prevents a run back and guaranteed field position for LSU he is willing to accept.
He kicks the Field Goal, and misses of course, LSU's ball on the 36

As an LSU fan, yes it would.
As someone who has been on the field for the Tigers, it would hurt, but as a competitor I would find a little satisfaction for Foster.

I'd do it. This time LSU won't have the refs and the review official (who was suspended for a similar call years ago and had MAJOR heat for this call with his higher-ups) on their side.
