I don't know about that. UT probably has more than 9 life championships.

Dude, it's so obvious who you're trolling.

I don't know who you're targeting with this thread, but I'd like to think the tougher SEC competition could have taken WKU...they lost to Vandy

so 2 of your top 4 opponents are OOC playoff teams? Color me shocked

Nice troll attempt OP
Yea there's no need to pick on Auburn after what Oklahoma did to them. They finished second in the west and had a better conference record than Tennessee so probably should've been included in OPs list

Bama can only play the opponents on their schedule. The mindset of the group that trots out is out of their hands.
That said, it was 52-6. You can spin it how you want but that's a talented football team that got obliterated

If I recall correctly...all those games were played in the year 2016 which would = the same USC team.

I think all of the teams you just listed is why 2016 Bama will go down in my book as the best team in the BCS era if they beat Clemson next week. Their resume is incredibly impressive. They beat a USC team that will likely finish in the top 6 by 46 points. They didn't even need to get out of second gear to beat a top 3 Washington team by three scores. They beat a LSU team that will likely finish in the top 15 by double digits on the road. Florida and Tennessee will both likely finish the season in the top 25. They beat those two teams by 38 and 39 points respectively. Bama has played a very formidable schedule yet they've crushed everybody and made it look easy.

Just stating that any honest person realizes the Bama win over USC was not that impressive.
They lost by double digits two weeks later to Stanford, a team who was not very good, and then followed that up with a loss to Utah.

The score was 10-0 good lawd!! Yes, double digits. Game was 0-0 into the 4th. Please stop with all the trolling because any Alabama fan with half a brain knows that LSU was by far it's toughest test to date and best opponent hands down! Just stop!!

Ole Miss scored 43 on Bama and only lost by 5. Seems like OM was the tougher opponent.

That's interesting. I don't remember Bama playing against Sam Darnold.

If a team makes it though the Playoff to the National Championship, its pretty much a guarantee now that your two toughest opponents will be OOC.
Playing a difficult OOC to start the season such as USC is not all that unusual.
So being that the 3 toughest are from OOC is not at all surprising.
Western Kentucky is not the 3rd best team you've played all season... or the 4th best. Having 11 wins does not mean they are automatically better than an 8-win team that plays a tougher schedule.
ESPN FPI ranks Western Kentucky #28... good enough to be Bama's 9th toughest opponent.
