Hell, take away cheating and he is an average coach. Easy to recruit when you are handing out new cars and envelopes of cash for every LOI.

Do you really think Saban could get away with that? With all the eyes on him there is no way.

Tend to agree here. Don't think the game will be close. Don't think MSU breaks single digits either.

Fulmer was a boss. He owned Bama for a long time.

As far as everyone acting like this won't even be a game.....have you been brainwashed by the media????

Bama is not anywhere close to being an elite team this year.

They looked very average against Treon Harris and the Gators who went to overtime with FAU and barely beat Vandy and also looked pedestrian against a bad Auburn team.

And Tennessee easily could have won with one more bounce our way.

They lost to an Ole Miss team that lost to Memphis.

What's their claim to dominance???? Thrashing a vastly overrated LSU team???

Mich State will be the most complete team Bama has played this year and the best defense and a really good qb.

I'm not sure why everyone is convinced this will be a route....Bama can easily get exposed this game.

They aren't going to be elite again until they get another qb that can.pick good defenses apart like Mcarron was capable of doing.

lol, they believe they have an elite QB. Don't tell them otherwise. Just look at his QB rating.

I think Bama will win but it's going be a tough game, it's going to be close till the fourth quarter then Bama should pull away by 10 points.

...over MSU. Time for the arse drag to take place. Calling it now. Thy may not score a TD!

If it were just Michigan State .... I might agree.

But it's not. It's Mark Dantonio and Alabama has not fared-well against any Gamecocks, as a whole, this millennium.

Matter of fact, since 2000, (this millennium) only the Gamecocks are straight even-up with Bama on the gridiron at 3-3.

Then there is the whole "former coach at Michigan State" jinx playing a disciple of his (95-99 MSU) no less.

Then there is the ugly cloud hanging over Bama right now ... they have not won a bowl game since when, 2012? But at the same time, in 2010, they curb-stomped (49-7) Dantonio and Michigan State in the Capitol One Bowl - it was the only previous meeting between the two programs.

Bama appeared to be peaking during the SECCG ... the question is, will they still be peaking a few nights from now?

I like them to win ... not sure about -21 though.

This feels like one of those games where a big bust out play will shift the momentum. A breakout run by Henry or a deep pass by Coker.

I do not think either team will drive the field consistently. I think the fourth quarter is definitely when Alabama will make its impact on Mich State.

Someone hasn't watched an MSU game this year. This just in, they're in the playoff for a reason.

Connor Cook absolutely brings it in big games. This should be fantastic.

I watched them intermittently, I recall they were losing in all their games against ranked teams until near the end.

Not saying they are not deserving, but I can see why people are picking Alabama to win.

I'd tend to agree but I thought Bama would put arse rapings on Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Utah in recent bowl games. Think I'll take a "wait-and-see" approach to this one. In any case, I'll be pulling for the Tide and good luck
