muschamp , that guy really set my poor gators back years. LSU and Bama both great programs, I expect UF to be back in the conversation with them next season. I do believe they are the 3 best overall SEC programs. others are just cute and show up sometimes only to choke, especially auburn and UGA

"LSU has become a little bit of a rivalry game because their program has become so good," Saban said. "This game usually has a lot of significance coming down to the ninth game of the season because we've had some success too. That's what's made it a national interest game, that's what's made it a rivalry game and that's what's made it an important game. So it's a real compliment to them."

Of those 50 were 14 straight Bama W's in Tiger Stadium between 1971-1998. That's why you'll never hear me say rivalry. It was unbelievable. The 2000 game was such a relief and came close to not being one.

I love you assholes that have your own definition of "rivalry". Look up the literal fricking definition of the word. It has nothing to do with previous results, dominance, championships or duration and nothing says you can't have more than one rival.

I would definitely agree with that. I've thought tha McElwain was a great hire from day 1 and I'm looking forward to UF being back in the mix so we can see some more 2003-2007 esque Florida/LSU games

The bear is dead. LSU 9-7 in Bryant Denny. The following recent years have produced overtime games or go ahead scores late in the 4th quarter: 2014 (OT), 2012, 2011(OT), 2010, 2009, 2008(OT), 2005.

Since 2000: LSU is 4-4 at home and 5-3 on the road. Since 2005: The series is 5-5 (in the reular season). It is undoubtedly the most anticipated game for NFL scouts for the better part of the last 10 years.

In that case, Auburn is still a fetus

We've beaten them 5 times in a row before they beat us four times in a row. Don't act like we don't own Florida, either

It's the equivalent of the Florida-Tennessee rivalry of the '90s except with great defenses instead of great offenses.

Hmmm...then I guess the red team is getting ready to be curb-stomped by a bunch of LSU zombies.

First off, you're just mad about the beating UF got
Secondly, why don't you ask Bama the team they're most scared of?

Hint: It's not UF

You really should try reading the thread before responding with UF response flames. Serraneaux is without doubt one of the biggest trolls on this board, but he is a TENNESSEE fan.

Clever. I'd say the #1 player and 7-0 along with 3 straight top 5 recruiting classes is pretty successful though.
