being the son of a great sports star doesn't always mean the kid will be just as good.

I doubt he'll go to USC. His Dad went to Notre Dame. Plus they got enough talent at QB as it is.

Is this kid already a Junior..going to be a Senior or what?

he's a senior. And there are plenty of great QBs who have sons that are okay, but not anything special. See Jack Elway at ASU and Nick Montana's older brother Nate at ND

He's physically unimpressive, plays on a team with a shitload of talent compared to everyone else in their division and has a weak arm.

Wayne Gretsky's kid, who is on the same team might end up being a better QB prospect. They have Will Smith's kid who might play in college as well

So? If anything, you're late in the game.

LSU offered way before ya'll did

ESPN

Nick Montana, son of NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana, has been offered by Maryland, Ohio State, South Carolina, LSU, Stanford and Arizona, according to Oaks Christian coach Bill Redell, affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com reports.

Redell added that he expects Texas and Alabama to offer the ESPNU 150 Watch List quarterback.

He will most likely stay in CA I would guess

He has mentioned many times distance is not a factor. Even said how much he likes the SEC fans, atmosphere and feels many dream of playing in the SEC.

He'll fit right into Saban's West Coast offense.
