I find it funny that Bama fans think they've had anything to do with and/or are entitled to anything from the success of the UAB med school. You all don't seem to realize that the school and hospital are one and the same and there's no way in hell UAB would ever give up the med school

It's pretty hard to imagine downtown Birmingham without UAB, but the football program is such a waste of money. Why keep spending millions on a shitty C-USA program that no one gives a shite about? It's not like the city or the state exactly have millions to blow on frivolous shite like mediocre athletics programs to begin with.

Entitled to it? It was UA's med school before moving to Birmingham satellite campus. Then it formed into UAB. They can keep the hospital and all the med classes. But the actual Med School officially needs to be part of UA and have off campus classes at UAB, not the other way around.
