I'm not even "upset". The thread is about Alabama backups, and he's the only one I know of. Just think it'd make the game more fun because I'm not the only one who would remember it, obviously. I don't know Alabama's backup QB situation. Why is an Alabama fan trying the "Are you a player" rhetoric? That alone warrants being ignored.

Solid assessment OP, but it is important to remember AJ has played 2 yrs without getting injured (knock on wood) stuff that has happened he's played through so its a "meh" situation

He will likely be relegated to another position in 2014 and the starter will either be Alec Morris (who is a better QB than many people think he can sling it) or another QB that beats him out in 2014 (if we land David Cornwell that is who I am expecting to have a shot to do it)

I saw him plant a back shoulder pass perfectly during the A-Day game and that is something we havent seen from Sims or Ely.

Actually the game he celebrated in was this past year's game, the Yeldon TD.
