Nah, SEC winner is in
P12 winner is in
Michigan is in (no way they lose to Iowa)

The team that needs help is TX, in the form of FSU losing to Louisville.

Yep. Either SEC has UGA or no one looks like, barring absolute chaos.

Red Bulldog Club and SEC gonna do work on these refs

No I have ALWAYS hated it. I wanted a big playoff like the pros years ago. Don't go assuming because of your hate.

Bama still #8

I’m starting to think Bama can win the SEC and if UGA make its close game, then UGA can still get in while Bama gets left out. I don’t see them jumping 4 spots and UGA dropping 5 spots. Hell, Ohio State only dropped 3 slots after the Michigan loss. Bama needs to start worrying.

Auburn was a tough team. They played both UGA and Bama close. Should really have beat Bama. I dont know what the committee thinks. They should
Be #8

Hope
They don’t beat us

Bama’s situation is the same as it has been for weeks. Need to keep winning and need Florida State or Texas to lose.

They need to move 4 spots. A win over Goergia moves them above Georgia (head to head and conf champ versus no conf champ), Ohio State (sitting at home, no conf champ, only two ranked wins), and the loser of Pac 12 Champ game (they aren’t getting two teams in).

That puts them at 5. Need FSU or Texas to lose and they are in. Been that way for weeks. Hasnt happened yet.

The committee will look like complete idiots if they move Bama to #4 even if they best UGA, who played a terrible schedule.

Get those asterisks ready, baws!

As much as I hate it, Bama will need help from somebody even if they beat Georgia. I’m biased and think we’re still one of the four best teams but unless a few other teams ahead of Bama lose, we’re left out. Too much ground to make up.

No team has moved from 8 into the playoffs in 1 week. The lowest spot has been from 6.

Bama wins there are above UGA. Committee places a lot of emphasis on conference champs, especially with same records

But if Texas wins BIG12 then they jump both based on head to head even with Texas having the worst loss of the 3

Sec also doesn’t have the great non-conference record this year either

Watch TEXAS & BAMA get left out with one loss while being the only teams in consideration that have matched up out of conference.

PAC 12 and B10 ranked teams never left their region, outside of tOSU who has proven to be a championship caliber contender in recent years, but they lost to UM.. how do we know these conference leaders are legit? We certainly can't say that about Washington & Oregon.

Thankfully it expands to 12 teams in '24.
