You posted some scores without any context. You didn't prove anything, but great argument kid

Yards and points are typically what offenses are measured on no?

It's not like I'm using obscure stats or something

You selected three games out of 6 played in that stretch last year. I wonder why...maybe because Harris was 4/14 for 80 yards against Eastern Michigan. Maybe because he was 8/16 for 150 against Syracuse. Maybe because 7 of LSU's 34 points were on a punt return. Maybe because LSU didn't pull away from WKU or EMU or Syracuse until the 4th quarter. LSU was up on Florida by 21 and needed a fake FG to win. The only complete game they played after Auburn was against a South Carolina team that went 2-10 and had moved a game to BR after their town flooded. But you're right, exactly the same as the last three games this year

Again, teams improve as the season goes on sometimes. This isn't some sort of never before seen scenario.

Now, if LSU goes on to get blown out in three straight games this year, you may have a point

3 out of 5 and I gave you how many points you scored in the other two. You want me to fix that because I can and it will make my point even stronger. I left those two out because the ultimate response would've been "yeah well those teams are even worse than the ones we just played"

But here you go. 5 game stretch:
485 yards, 45 points on Auburn
425 yards, 34 points on Syracuse
471 yards, 44 points on Eastern Michigan
624 yards, 45 pts on USCe
423 yards, 35 pts on UF (Florida actually had a good D too)

Happy now? Those numbers are about as good as you can ask for from an offense but please continue to tell me how close the game was as if it has any sort of relevance.

Darth Saban has a very small soft spot for LSWho? so he won't run it up on you.

LSU hasn't been blown out by bama in Tiger Stadium since Saban lost 31-0

That was a freezing miserable game and our asses got kicked ... The north wind blowing into the south end zone was ridiculous.

Y'all did the same thing around the same time last year. It's amazing how short LSU fans memories are

Last year LSU couldn't pass. Now they can. LSU struggled on offense against shitty defenses this year before Les was canned.

Just be happy auburn caught LSU early.

No he's saying LSU was a count hair away from winning so there's no reason this game won't be close. It's not a complicated idea for most people. And that 2014 LSU team was not good.

Not in the context of comparing a close win to a blowout.

I can't exactly blame them for being confident.

Confident of a win, sure, but nothing about recent history suggests they will blow us out in Tiger Stadium. They very well may, but history isn't the argument for it.

I'm not.

634 yards, 42 points vs Mizzou
459 yards, 45 points vs USM
515 yards, 38 points vs Mississippi

Look like LSU went from averaging 485 yards, 39 ppg, to 536 yards, 42 ppg.

Offense improved since last year.

I bet passing yards is where you see the big difference in those stats. Everyone knew LSU would eventually struggle last year since there was no passing threat.

That just isn't true. This board was convinced Harris was good and LSU had a competent balanced attack pre-Alabama game.

Well they blow a lot of people out and "should have lost" is meaningless. I think most Bama fans recognize we've improved and will be at tough challenge, but I can't exactly blame them for being confident.

We're confident, our coach has spoiled the hell out of us for years and we can't help but feel confident every time our team hits the field.

But I've seen very few Bama fans state that they think this will be a blow out. We realize it will be a hostile environment and we will be facing a new coach and a very talented, energized team.

It will be a close, hard fought game just like always.

Only the true believers, the Miles defenders believed this. No one I knew in real life had any faith. Notice how it only took the bama loss for the majority to want him gone.
