3 or 4 games, it is a stretch to say he is a starter. He is probably the best combination of experience and talent. And concerning Jones none of us are fans of his, but Saban has a track record of having first year Corners we hate turn into second year corners we love.

When is the last time Alabama beat a 10+ win Auburn team?

Dude you only have 12 ten win season. In the entire lifetime of your football program. The problem is Auburn is ususally not that good.

Compared too

As of the completion of the 2013 season, Alabama has 838 official victories[a][b] in NCAA Division I (an additional 21 victories were vacated and 8 victories and 1 tie were forfeited), has won 27 conference championships (4 Southern Conference and 23 SEC championships) and has made an NCAA-record 60 postseason bowl appearances. Other NCAA records include 23 10-game+ win streaks and 19 seasons with a 10–0 start. The program has had 32 10–win seasons (plus one vacated),[10][11] and has 35[b] bowl victories, both NCAA records.[12] Alabama has completed 10 undefeated seasons, 9 of which were perfect seasons. The Crimson Tide leads the SEC West Division with nine division titles and eight appearances in the SEC Championship Game. Alabama holds a winning record against every current and former SEC school, except for SEC newcomer Missouri (2-2). The Associated Press (AP) ranks Alabama 4th in all-time final AP Poll appearances, with 51 through the 2013 season.[13][14]

At worst, it's a tie.

Auburn returns everyone not named Dee Ford. Everyone. Monty Adams, Carl Lawson, Elijah Daniel, Gabe Wright, LaDarius Owens, Angelo Blackson, Ben Bradley, and so forth...and add DeVonte Lambert.

Auburn has more proven talent at DL.

OJ is good but he is undersized at TE and is more of an oversized WR who has trouble blocking

OJ is a decent blocker but I wouldn't run to his side very often. His value is in the matchup problems he presents when running routes. Linebackers can't stay with him and dbs aren't big enough to defend him. If Kiffin has a brain in his head (up for debate), he'll wear out OJ in the passing game.

I just love how every thread ends up being about LSU some kind of way.

You are kidding yourself if you think Alabama isn't returning a lot of experience.

The only key here is that y'all ain't returning any experience at the main position, QB. Enjoy!!!!

Your DL got abused in the IB.

Someone should have called the cops on Auburn's OL that day.

LB, That's AU all day. McKinzy was a beast last year and now playing his natural MLB position and Frost played lights out at the end of the year and is as talented as any starter at LB on both teams.

I'd give Bama the RB edge for sure with Yeldon and Henry both back. Large edge, based on what we know today.

TE is also an edge to Bama. OJ Howard is the most talented TE in the league. I love Uzomah and all, but OJ Howard is another animal altogether.

Both teams suck in the secondary, minus Landon Collins and Jermaine Whitehead.

Don't worry, I'm sure we can come up with another game manager.

Tell me how did it work out for LSU last time Alabama didn't return a starting QB.

How about in 2008-2009 season when Alabama won another National Championship.

The last two time Alabama didn't return a starting QB. They won National Championships.

2009 "new starter Greg McElroy
2012 "new starter AJ McCarron

BTW we will have a QB with Experience coming in.
