with what Saban and Kiffin did with Blake Sims and Jacob Coker, making the playoff and winning the NC respectively, I don't even know why Alabama wastes scholarships on QBs.

So what you are saying is that a couple of those games that Sims pulled a rabbit out of his arse and what Coker did at the end of last year and more so in that NCG didn't mean shite?
I will say that luck train with QB's will run out soon and I am thinking that time will be this year!
I think you are a fool if you don't think it all starts with the QB! See our troubles the last few years.

That one word makes all the difference.

I have discovered fairly recently that reading comprehension isn't that valued in the state of Louisiana.

quote:The QB is important sure, but when the likes of Blake Sims and Jake Coker are at the helm and both teams won championships, it's a whole lot more than the QB doing that. Now I admit, Sims and Coker improved as their seasons progressed and they evolved into solid leaders and at times clutch QBs. But every team with a decent coaching staff should show improvement week to week, and provided there aren't a rash of serious injuries they should be a lot better at the end of the season. But Bama's team is not hinged solely on the production of the QB. Thank goodness!

LSU's troubles the last few years have been Les Miles insufferable stubbornness and his inability to let his OC manage the offense unhindered. Les interjects his philosophy into the offense too much and as a result it has become stale and predictable.
Surely he got the hint after he was all but booted to the curb that he needs to step away and let Cameron do his job? LSU has just as much talent as Alabama, Les needs pick up the "coaching" a notch or two and we'd be neck and neck fighting for Atlanta every year.

Drew Brees may need some wobble for accuracy, or maybe he can't throw a tight spiral like Rodgers and Brady.

good thing bama hasn't produced an nfl qb in decades or we would have to hear about that too
Its science dumbo

He probably is. I have literally never been impressed with any play SB has made at the QB position.

So the guy he pays money to thinks he's better than a previous client no longer paying him money?
That's almost as credible as a prostitute saying you're the "biggest she's ever had".
