Saban is one of the greatest college football coaches ever. I hope he stays at Bama for as long as they want him.

"Saban learned here that there can be no true despair without hope. So, as he terrorizes the SEC, he will feed its fans hope to poison their souls. He will let them believe they can [beat Bama] so that you can watch them clamoring over each other to "stay relevant." You can watch him torture an entire [Grove] and when you have truly understood the depth of your failure, he will fulfill the Bear's destiny..."

We've had 5 different coaches win national titles, Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas, Bear Bryant, Gene Stallings and Saban. Three of them won at least 3 national titles a piece.
When Saban retires we'll still be stocked and top coaches will be running to apply for the job.

I am just saying that we can and have beat him? I don't see why that is tough to understand. We know how to beat him and we may want him to stay?
Les thought this when he was 3-2 vs Saban.

They will likely slide a bit, but Bama is a traditional power. I'm guessing they will be fine. Might not be as dominant, but will still field a really damn good team year after year.

Let's be real. There probably will never be a team this dominant again. 4 of 7, with the modern recruiting and scholarship restrictions, is in-fricking-sane. 8 years ago, did anyone really think Bama fans would start calling Saban our best coach ever? THat would've been an offense punishable by tar and feathering.

50-10-2! hell, you do realize that most of that wasn't Saban, right?

They will probably still be pretty good.
They have won in pretty much every decade.
Thank Christ they are in the West.

Ole Miss will take their place this year as the dominant force in the West.

I believe it will be similar to Coach Bryant, we will still be a force but not a national contender on the reg but by no means bad.
Something that gets lost, the only BAD teams we've ever had were on probation. As long as we are not on probation we contend for the SEC. Not national every year. Then, We will eventually get a great coach and great fit again down the road and be the team in America.
Thomas, Drew, Bryant, Saban, they were all perfect fits for Bama and what they both had in mind for a football program. Also, when they got there the infrastructure was there to win and win big.

Bama fans, ask Saban how our arse tastes.

50 out of 60 time we'd be asking our foot how your arse feels.
