Bama has only lost 3 games in the last 3 yrs. If Au goes on to win the NC, 2 of those losses will have been to eventual NC teams. I can understand the players giving respect to them. Respecting and allegiance are 2 different things.

Players and other people who actually participate in these rivalries typically have more respect and a more level head towards the other than most crazy fans on either side.
