He's right. A simple switch to zone with the corners stops that play. Good thing for Clemson. Pruitt isn't the brightest bulb

Saban doesn't make em practice as hard as he used to
quote:Woah now. Saban isn't the greatest gameday coach. He ain't shy about getting out coached.
they were out coached for the first time
quote:Why not?
he couldn't pick Bama to win again
quote:He's an idiot. But to be fair, he probably never stood a chance on that front.
He doesn't sound like the sharpest dude.

One second made the difference of who was National Champs and it sure wasn't BAMA.

I don't think we'll make it, but I have almost zero doubt y'all will.
All part of the process. Dre is trying to piss our dudes off.

Again is there not an ACC message board. You won the national championship. Why are you not over there? Were Bama fans flocking to the ACC message board after the 2015 natty title game?

Clemson will spank Bama again this year if they make it to the same bowl. Dabo is Saban's daddy.

Dre Kirkpatrick says Nick is getting soft, and Dabo took him to school.

AMEN!!
It should embarrass you to have to come to an SEC board to talk about sports. It's like a little brother tagging along behind big brother and his friends, all the while they're telling you to get lost...pitiful...really.

Imo the outcome of the game had more to do with Sark trying to force a freshmen to win the game instead of relying on the run game. In the 2nd half we should have been running the ball and burning clock. We should have been running counters and mis-directions

Kinda like that time Cam Newton carried Aubie on his shoulders to a NC. Now Clemson won't have near the melt down Aubie did. But, without D. Watson I don't see them getting back this year.

I agree but not great

Everyone does but can they execute

Why they were able to execute but they had Watson but now they not and doubt they will be in the conversation again anytime soon. No different once UF lost Tebow or AU with Cam. Those 3 players are type of players any coach should be able to win it all with.

I think it fair to say the Dabo out coached Saban that night. Saban out coached him the year before. I think a third match in three years is unlikely to say the least. I do think Saban will retire in about 5 years or so, and Dabo will come running when "mama calls" as Bear Bryant put it. Then, I think we Bammers will feel much better about hiring another coach that has proven he can win the big game. What can I say? Clemson was just a little better that night and won.
After Bama lost to tosu, Saban felt like he worked his team too hard in practice and they weren't at peak game efficiency. So he tweaked it and Bama won the playoffs the next year. Then they repeated the same lite, less physical practices last year and came up a little short. There is some truth in what Dre said.

Seems like the mentality of most of us men as we age, regarding the younger folks not doing it the way we did it back in the day, or not having it as tough as we did.

Yep. It would never have occurred to me to go to an ACC board last year
