Thanks for the info. My intertubez have been spotty and slow as frick these past few day due to all the storms so I can't really do much research.

Still a QP from an informant and in a dorm room is pretty bad, especially when you add in all that cash. He was obviously running something if the allegations are even half true and that means buying from others before the agent and likely funding from nefarious characters. And while I don't think ill of pot dealers just because they sell weed, the ones capable of selling that much are usually into other shite and sometime violent -- big dollars almost always equal bad associations and shits as people when it comes to dealers (same is true for the big time Wall Street crooks [not the little crooks but the big ones-, IMNSHO, in terms of being scumbags).

At any rate, kid needs to give them what they want which is often a bigger fish to get a better deal. If he's unlucky enough to have no one they want and/or be a first time buyer then he's SOL. The thing that might help him is unis tend to help players with legal council recommendations and those guys often work for next to nothing while getting clients great deals or off completely.

Hopefully the young man comes out of this OK *if* he never did anyone violence directly or indirectly (and I'd say that about ANY pot dealer). This shite needs to be legal.
