Thank you to Georgia, from the entire Crimson Tide Nation. Without your stellar #1 ranking the whole season, your dominant play, the invincibility feeling that Georgia had, Alabama likely would not have made it into the playoffs.

Let's face it, beating Georgia was the one and only reason Alabama is now able to play for another NC.

There were a couple of other teams that had a shot at the #4 spot but, I can't really remember who they were at this point and it doesn't matter anyway.

Thanks to Georgia being who they were, Bama's victory over them catapulted them into the playoffs.

I was so happy it happened that way because it seemed like it was supposed to be that way, like order was restored.

It's kind of the same feeling all of us had when Bama '08 dominated a rising and celebrated Georgia team to signal the true arrival of the GOAT.

The look on these people's faces represents not just their sorrow, but the sorrow of the entire SEC, and the nation at large, when they realized "Bama Was Back".

Georgia has always been good to Alabama. Roll Tide!

Jesus may have had something to do with Alabama's victory; I'm not qualified to comment on that.

I do know that Georgia lifted Alabama right into the driver's seat again. For that, we should be thankful.

Go Dawgs!

Given the deal with the devil Nick Saban struck at the cost of his soul, you're barking up the wrong tree.

Georgia fans should be thankful that Alabama beat them also. If not for that, just think, some unqualified team that played a bunch of cripples all season would have been in the playoffs.

Georgia was the only team beating Georgia and that's precisely what happened. The Dawgs picked a bad night to have a bad night. It's no more complicated than that.

Played 10 times, Georgia wins that game no fewer than 6 of them.

Alabama wins against Georgia 8 times out of ten the way it was that day. If you add in Bama's #1 running back, Bama easily wins 10 out of 10 games.

Injuries have always hampered Alabama; they just can't catch a break in that regard.

You have to wonder if anything else happens in the state of Alabama.

Guess not.

Jam Miller is Bama’s best back and it’s not close.

Not going to lie, with the post earlier about trading Mizzou out of the conference and here trolling Georgia, as an LSU fan I am feeling a bit neglected.

Sure, but the stupid moderators seem to irrationally demand that football be discussed on this board.

Many sports sites are like that.

Most lsu fans have kind of lost their spark of creativity due to supporting a team that gives them nothing to talk about other than an ill-deserved Heisman.

You can only beat on lsu fans so much before they start to enjoy it as a sort of self-flagellation. Trust me, it can get weird with lsu fans real quick if you give them too much attention. You have to know how to treat them as you would if you were training a puppy. Know when to quit and when to encourage them.

I'll create a thread tomorrow about lsu though, just to give them something to do while all the rest of us discuss football.

Crimson Waith- thanks for posting the grid. I'm not real smart so have not been able to find the link to the grid. Would you please post the link so I can print out the grid. Thanks in advance.
