The gator d may be legit but didn't UK throw for like 400 yards on them?

Half of that came on 4-5 plays. WRs made legit hard as shite catches, QB made perfect throws, and one of the TDs was a flat out blown coverage.

Yeah, few big pass plays and great catches by guys who were well covered. Think the biggest one of the game was the play after Hargreaves cramped up and had to be taken out. And the guy that came in for him still had good coverage.

That is a big line, IMO. The thing that you just never know about when bama is at home............how many more than 11 guys will they have on the field?

Our secondary made some really bad mistakes in the second half, mostly from the safety positions. Our CBs were left one on one on an island too often and the young guys didn't get their heads turned while UK receivers made good catches.

The UK QB did a good job of throwing it over their heads and exploiting it, especially when they immediately went after VH3's replacement when he went out with cramps.

But our young guys did show flashes of greatness and ball hawking ability. We picked off three passes and probably dropped another 3-4 that they could have easily intercepted.

The one thing about Muschamp is that his secondary is always legit.

The young guys will be much better this week IMO.

So there is little to no concern about the Gator secondary?

Lot of people on this board know the SEC better than vegas.

I would personally bet all I have that no linesmaker in vegas could do a better job of picking and setting lines on AU games than me.I think I am better than all of them when it comes to AU games.

There's a huge concern because they are so young so they're gonna be prone to dumb mistakes. I think they will get better and better as the season goes along, but we really don't have much time for them to grow up playing in the SEC.

How are the linebackers? Did UK have any success running the ball?

Run defense is probably our biggest strength this year. We're not getting as much of a pass rush as I had hoped for with the exception of Dante Fowler, but the d-line and linebackers are playing the run very well and swarming to the ball.

I doubt there is a lot of concern about the secondary. I watched the game up until the beginning of OT when I left. Gator fan is right, about half of those yards came on several big plays that are anomalies where coverage was abour as good as it gets but a play was made.

Gator offense was pretty shitty though. Easy to see athletes everywhere and tons of potential, but something is missing and I couldn't tell you what it is.

If you have that ability, why not go to Vegas and get rich?

I think right now, our parts are greater than the whole as a team.

We have so many more legit playmakers and stand-out player this year than last but we really didn't put it all together against UK.

Driskel is going to be Driskel, so I'm just hoping he takes on a game manager role.

Who cares? bammer has enough of their own problems to worry about. Your struggled against a West Virginia team that needed a last second field goal to beat Maryland

Well, there are only 13 AU games a year.

If I had to guess I would say I have probably hit around 80% betting AU games over my life.

So, yeah I'm better at picking AU games than any linemaker in vegas and I win money on AU games every year.

Betting for or against AU against the spread 4-5 times a year to make a living sounds pretty fricking stupid though.

Yalls receivers dropped a lot of passes early in the rain as well. Hell, opening drive that wide open drop on third down probably cost UF 7.

Receivers make those early catches, UF would have probably been up several scores early and UK might have packed it in.
