Does this mean Myles Jr. may have drop them from the list.

Could be nothing for us. But why would Bama offer another DB in the last hour?

They're our biggest competition, not biggest rivals.

I think it has more to do with Greg Reid choosing FSU or Georgia than it does with Myles Jr.

Reid was always a longshot for Bama and I also believe that Myles will not be signing with Bama. I wish we could have landed one of them, but will have to look for some more safety help in next years class.

Who do you think Myles will sign with. I ask because I kinda doubt he comes to Red Stick.

I think that he ends up with Kentucky or Tenn.

Little Kiffin would love to show off Myles as his first of many recruiting victories over Bama and Lance Thomson would immediately get some of Pearl's leftovers. For this reason I hope he picks Kentucky.

What are you guys hearing about Josh Johns? Will he be offered a full ride on the 09 class if the cards don't fall out exactly as planned with signing day?

This is interesting.....first LSU tells Moore "no thanks", now Bama offering a LA Tech commit? Certainly doesnt portray them as having much confidence in their safety options at the moment.... I wonder if LSU coaches know smthg we dont

I guess he (Saban) figures that Tech could possibly beat ULM and we all know that ULM still owns us so maybe if we can't beat them then try to steal some talent that can?

Saban has had a backup safety in mind the entire year with recruiting. I had heard that he was going to offer Josh Johns a scholarship if the cards fell a certain way.

I had not heard until this topic that Saban had offered Giles.

Do we know that he actually was offered? Scout nor Rivals have anything about it, and this is the first I've heard of it (I do know he took a visit to T-town this past weekend)

No, the BOL has verified that Myles is solid to Bama.

But Bama still has room for 10-20 more recruits so why not oversign some CBs?

You mean that poor Bama homer that guaranteed Reid to Bama last night was wrong? Wow!

Not saying you are wrong, but where did you hear this? Like the other Bama poster I have never even heard of this guy receiving an offer. Thanks.

Say what you want about Tim Watts, but he correctly predicted every major recruit that eventually signed with Alabama weeks before NSD last year. The only times he was wrong was when he tried to gauge where kids NOT coming to Bama were headed, a la Antoine McClain to Clemson (he predicted UT).

Even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then and therein lies the rub. Last year was an unusual year for Bama with great in-state talent and it signed a lot of solid talent. But that doesn;t mean it is your destiny to repeat that every year. I'm not questioning last year. I'm just finding amusement in many Bama fans belief that last was the rule. and not the exception.

The Bama homer that I was referring to "guranteed" that Reid would sign with Bama and stated that Myles was also solid to Bama. To those of us that live in reality, that chit is funny.
