I think the Top 100 players list (voted on by the players) is the most accurate way to determine which players are the best in the NFL. After all, it's the guys that actually play the game.

Last year bama had 1 player (Julio Jones) who made that list.

Georgia and LSU both had 5 players on the list.

It's hard to fathom how bama only had 1 player on that list after all of those number ranked recruiting classes, all of the NC's and SEC Titles, and countless individual awards by the best of the best players coming out of high school.

Other teams with 1 player on that list include (but are not limited to):
The mighty Tiffin Dragons (that's right..the Tiffin Dragons had the same number of top 100 players on the list)
Troy
Tulane
Troy
Ole Miss
Buffalo
Central Michigan
Central Missouri State
Coastal Carolina
Kent State
Mississippi State
Temple
and about 15 others with just 1 player.

Hard to believe that the above teams are developing Top 100 players at the same rate as bama.

It's why I honestly believe Nick Saban is what I like to call a ...swag vampire. He has always said he does not want any energy-vampires around the program to sap the motivation out his players. He makes sure when he puts his fangs in them for three or four years he sucks all of the football life out of them. It's sad.

I do believe they may have an astonishing 2 or 3 players that will make the list this year. Congrats....I guess.
