Ok, take the very best Bama and LSU players in the NFL and put them on a team. They play the best of the rest, who wins?
I'd say other than a weakness at QB, the Bama/LSU bunch has the upper hand.

This is really dumb - bama / lsu would have the best position player in a few categories, while the other team would have the best position player in 15 / 22 categories at least - and they would have the 2nd best position player in the balance.

LSU obviously has a complete backfield with its tailbacks stepping up in big games

That would be a dang good team. I think I would do CEH over Fournette, though, just because of the versatility CEH brings (catching passes, as well as running). You could have a hammer in Henry, and CEH to do other things out of the backfield in addition to his running.

If the question was an all Alabama/LSU roster against any given team (as currently constituted) then sure the Alabama/LSU roster would be as talented as any, if not more, and could win. I guess you would have to give the other team replacement players for the Alabama/LSU guys you take off their roster).
But an Alabama/LSU roster against a roster of the very best of all other school's NFL players? I don't think so.
