I'm not buying that 6'0" thing.

No worries.

I'd have said:

Bama has lost only 1 game or none a season, during half of Saban's tenure at Bama, congrats Aggies..blah blah blah..

It says 6'1" I think. But yeah, they probably pad their height/weight a little bit.

I've met a few LSU players over the years, and none of them were as big or tall as advertised. Except for Kirston Pittman. HOL-E shite.

Bama and the overrated D! You all played two good teams and the defense was horrible. Bama's defense looks like the Saints!

Go play an NFL team.

The points in your OP are spot on. And as a Tiger fan I'm embarrassed by the Schadenfreude that those in our fan base who don't know what this means exude.

But I do offer a possible explanation for the elation over a Bama loss by anyone with an axe to grind: with your schedule against the East of late - and going forward - opportunities for Bama losses are few and far between.

Put another way: How many teams from the East are in the BCS top 10? How many has LSU played? How many has A&M played? How many has Bama played?

This embarrassing display has its roots in an argument that had Bama a slightly harder sked, they just might be a two-loss team as well.

Throttle Georgia in Atlanta and this notion will be moot. Lose and it will persist and fester.

LSU, Bama and A&M all have solid squads. We should all just be happy with that. But of course we won't.

I can appreciate a good post like this. This board is getting out of hand a bit lately with all the LSU Bama bickering.

I think it was an epic game that will probably be one of the more memorable ones of this decade. With the head coaches at both of our schools, I could see our games being pretty memorable for some time.

I'll be happy if Mett continues his improved play. Estatic actually since the 1st half of the year precludes him from leaving early.

Evans is a beast, with his size and speed, (and the fact they are already doing back shoulder throws to him) won't be surprised to see this kid with a good NFL career.

I didn't think manziel was 6'1 either. Stayed after the bama game, at the buses. I'm 6'3, and I think he is def 6 foot. Taller than I expected. Kingsbury was much taller than I expected as well.

No doubt, our D was way overrated. Still very, very good, though.

eh, it wasnt horrible. We let the other teams get yards, but LSU only scored 17, and TAMU 29(after scoring 20 first quarter points). I am still proud of our team.

not that bad.

Do you really still think that this was a serious opinion held by Alabama fans?

What a fricking game.

Kudos to Bama, you brought your B game against a team on fire and still almost sealed the deal. Instant Classic

It was a great game. Hoping Bama gets into the NC game and takes it down.

Yeah, Saw the replay. A&M played great. It looked like Bama was doing their best, but A&M is just too fast for Bama.

It also looked like A&M's noseguard was controlling the line of scrimmage. I never would have thought Jones could be pushed around like that.
