Discuss this with me.

So we have been trying to discuss this with you per your request but to no avail. Did you really just want to post the stat without discussion?

Sounds like Chavis is their solution.

It's 99th too. He didn't even get that right. I posted a link to go with 99th.

I think it will get figured out. But it's obvious it "may" be an issue as it was vs
Ole miss

A&M is 22nd nationally in 3rd down percentage defense, so this could be a problem for Bama.

Aggies need to convert a few 3rd and shorts to win this one.

Can you run on 3rd and 2 and get it done vs that massive front 7. That would go a long way in securing victory in my opinion

Sorry bro, just got back from a run and was making an ice coffee

But I see that the Bama posters in this thread aren't the same ones that have been running their mouths, I expected more deflection.

You will have a better than your average 3rd down conversion rate against us because of the run game, unless kiffin goes all kiffin

But our pass defense will be by far the best you've faced this year.

We can but it will be our qb rushing for those yards or lateral passes to our RB or TE

It was what I heard on the radio, but is there really much difference between 99th and 108th?

Yea it doesn't matter how you convert but you gotta keep that front 7 honest.

11-20 averaged out to about 3rd and 7+ yds for the night.

Defensively? Maybe I looked at the stats wrong.

I feel like Alabama needs to dominate time of possession early, so I think you are on to something that Bama will need to improve on 3rd down from their season average.

I think even Kiffin can see that Bama needs to run the ball in this one and keep Coker out of obvious passing downs where A&M can bring the heat.

Actually haven't been able to watch A&M at all this year. Have heard about the pass rush, but didn't know that A&M's pass defense in general was that good (and so much better than Ole Miss, Georgia, etc.). More reason for Kiffin to run the ball I guess.

We are talking bama offense buddy

Then I started talking aggies short yardage 3rd down offense. Sorry for the confusion ith sidetracking.

4-13 vs ole miss wasn't bad but bama fans were quick to point out that against uga the stats were skewed. So I posted your 3rd down conversion in your loss to show that it's wasnt great but just average in that loss

Lest we forget!
It's 3RD & Chavis time.
Bama will make 100% of their 3RD down coversions against
3RD & Chavis.
Especially in the last 2 minutes or the 1ST half and the last 2 minutes of the game!!!!

I think we're ranked 22nd in 3rd down defense, so I don't think 3rd and chavis was a thing at LSU. I think it was more 3rd and Miles.
