a lot of people think Bo is more talented and a better running back.

Bama will always be up there with Saban. I do think they lose to LSU this year however, just because it is in Tiger stadium and LSU's talent level is for once equal to Bama. We will see.

I can see Bama and LSU in the playoffs.

Are we supposed to be surprised? Bama signs the #1 recruiting class every year. Bama is not supposed to have roster uncertainty.

Sure, but realistically all teams have years when leaders graduate, certain positions are young/inexperienced, etc.

Alabama will always have "talented" players ready to move in, but this league is full of teams with talented players. This year we will have talent spread across all positions and a whole lot of positions with experienced leaders returning.

There is a difference.

yeah, I see what you're saying. but that hasn't been very indicative of success in the past.

true, but bama has had a top 2 recruiting class for what...like 7 of the last 8 years? They should be the strongest roster every single season. If they aren't then something's wrong.

All the peaces are in place, it comes down to attitude---leadership. + a bit of luck.

Guess we'll see if the dynasty is still in effect.

Also curious about the secondary regarding second safety spot and what we do with Minkah/final corner position - really wish Tony Brown was reliable or else we would be totally set.

I think the secondary is pretty much set whether or not Brown plays. . .

CBs: Humphrey, Fitzpatrick
FS: Jackson
SS: Harrison
Nickel & Dime: Some combination of Brown/Sheffield/Burgess-Becker

The backfield should be the strength of the defense and with Pruitt's agressive scheme, should really flourish.

I'm still amazed that Bama beat Clemson. It looked like it was going to be a 21-0 style stomp for a while

Bama signs the top classes for sure but you never know how it's going to pan out....injuries, disciplinary etc. etc.

Agreed - but due to various things (grades, NFL draft, etc) there are years when all of a sudden 2-3 important position groupings become very thin on experience and we are playing guys who are young and maybe not quite ready.

It's a 1st world problem, but when comparing all of our teams the last decade it can make a significant difference.

I don't remember any part of the game where I thought we were going to get stomped. Lose maybe, but stomped? There was zero part of the game that looked like that.

Well considering that Henry was barely a top-5 RB in the nation.. I won't be surprised in the least if Bo is better.

15-0. Screenshot me saying this and watch me be right. This team will be one of Saban's best. RTR!

You are wrong, and you can screenshot me saying this and watch me be right. Odds are against any team going 15-0, so I feel relatively safe in making this statement. More often than not I will be right.

If Bo gives us 5.6 ypc I will be very happy.

You realize Bama won by 5 and scored 24 points in the 4th quarter, right?

It was truly a crazy game. Bama completely shut down but finds points 21 points on two busted coverages and an early big run by Henry.

That Clemson team is probably the only team I've seen during the Bama dynasty that could probably beat the tide 3/4 times

Yeah. I'll bet LF7 is really kicking himself in the arse about not going to Alabama. He'd be holding the Heisman now. Oh well, the next big-time recruit probably won't make that same mistake because Alabama's recruiters will point that out, I imagine.

I was sitting in Section 448, I realize it.

Yes it was

Totally shutdown except for the big plays. Makes sense. We were also up by 12 points with 20 seconds left. Our largest deficit was 3 pts and it lasted for about 10 minutes.

Life of an LSU fan is rough these days.
