2010 was Bama vs. the SEC schedule. That was the year six SEC opponents had bye week advantages before facing Bama.
There's no way that South Carolina would have otherwise beaten the Tide that year.

I loved the 09 team. Tenacity, relentlessness, discipline. Not the most dynamic offense but was very efficient. Great D, Great fg kicker, great, smart players. That team just would not lose.
This team, athletically, is the most gifted he's ever had.

2003 lost only to Fla. while at LSU.
2011 lost only to LSU 9-6. Steamrolled LSU 21-0 in BCSNC

In 2011 we had the best defense I have ever seen. It really was a different era though. Im not sure they would be as great today considering the offensive changes.

Well see about this year when all games have been played.

My personal favorite was '09. Alabama had 6 AAs that year and blew out 2 top 3 teams in a row to end the season.

That's what people forget to mention when they try to compare the 2009 team to the 2011 team. The 2009 team played against significantly tougher competition and it's not even close. In addition to Texas and Florida, Bama also dominated a really good Virginia Tech team that finished in the top 10 that year.

2007 was his best team. No cheating refs to win games for him... no steroids... and no REC buying up all the talent.

Loved the 2012 team with the beat down of ND.

That's like asking which was the best blow job I've received. They're all special in their own way.

They are all different but the 2011 team that beat LSU 21-0 was perhaps the best. Sad thing is that that LSU team was just as good it just wasn't their day! That was two great football teams!

I honestly believe the 2010 team that lost 3 games was his most talented.
The secondary was too inexperienced. Easy to look and say "Oh they had Milliner and Kirkpatrick" and forget that both those guys struggled mightily that year. That team is extremely overrated because people only remember the Capital One Bowl.

I'm going to be the contrarian and say the 2012 team (the team that beat Norte Dame) was the best.
They were only slightly less dominant defensively then the 2011 team, but were the most balanced team offensively with a senior heisman finalist at QB, Eddie Lacey and TJ Yeldon at RB, Amari Cooper as the #1 receiver and what was arguably the GOAT college offensive line going. It was by far the most stable we ever were in QB play.

There's a lot of season left but so far:
2011 was best. 2016 is the most complete.
2016 can shut you down or outscore you in a track meet, whichever you prefer. If we had a FG kicker, we'd be the total package.

2011
2009
2012 - i'm not as high on our defense on this one as many people (in relation to the great bama defenses)
IMO
I think there are arguments to be made that some non-national championship winning teams were better than 15. 2015, 2008 and 2009 are probably my favorite teams though.

We had a lot of talent, just got killed by injuries that year. Ingram, Upshaw, Julio, Barron(I think it starts to get hazy so many years ago) were all hobbled for much of the year and I think TRich was too.
