The old adage that when a team plays two QBs all season long, that it's not good, no true leader has emerged, a "two headed monster" so it goes. But in Bama's case we will have two very similar QBs, mobile with strong legs and instinctive running ability, and very strong arms that are raw but should improve as they mature. I'm speaking of Hurts and newcomer Tagovailoa. But here's the kicker, one is a righty, the other a lefty!!! Imagine the headaches of trying to defend that! Hurts best at throwing on the run while he's moving to right, opposite for Tua T. Imagine putting in your D personnel group to try and stop a QB who likes to roll right, but then the lefty comes in. Can your D handle that?!?!?

And btw, I'm not blowing smoke, this is for real, Tua will definitely be in the QB rotation, a true frosh along with true soph Hurts. Bama has no choice as there are no other QBs on scholly other than Jones who will definitely shirt.

We all saw what hurts is capable of during the National championship

No we won't. Do you think Saban and them want to go Through developing a second true freshman QB. Tua hasn't thrown his first spring practice pass yet against live competition. If Hurts passing doesn't improve I hope Tua gets the shot but let's get through April before we assume he'll be heavily in the mix.

A late 4th quarter game winning drive?
It's wasn't his fault at that point that DW did the same right after that.

He shouldn't have scored so fast

Yep, the other dozen were game losing drives. But, you already knew that didn't you?

It's not a game winning drive if you don't win, it is a late 4th quarter go ahead drive. Just saying.

All that's going to do is make it more difficult for the receivers with the ball coming with a different spin.

Really going to be nice to be able to match up lefty/righty out of the pen late in games.

Wait

Tua is overrated. Doesn't have the tools to be an SEC QB and won't see the field at Bama.

Be glad you have Hurts, he's better now than Tua will ever be.

Soooo let me get this straight,

Your hopes rest on Jalen Hurts... a QB who struggles to even throw a screen pass...

and...

A kid from Hawaii who played only Hawaii high schools... (the best player he ever faced in high school was the #1100+ overall player in the country)

Lolololololol... sounds good.

Well, it's no Purdue transfer, but we'll figure out a way to make it work.

Meh. Obviously what Jalen did as an 18 year old true freshman this year was incredible, however, he earned a lot of the blame for the defense having to be on the field for 99 plays that night.
