We aren't in dime and nickel against some teams either with a good passing game which we will prolly have to play all game this week.

1. We're more tested. We've played a game away from home against a significant opponent. Ole Miss has looked good but against two teams that can't challenge them, both in Oxford.

2. Mental edge. Last year's game was set up perfectly for Ole Miss, having lost to Bama for a decade and playing at home with a veterans in key positions. This year, Ole Miss still has some elite talent and plenty of experience, but the lack of experience at QB is huge.

3. Turnovers. Don't expect to win the turnover battle this year. Big factor last year.

4. Ole Miss outplayed Alabama and deserved to win last year, even overcoming a horrible missed facemask that resulted in a defensive score for us. All granted. But Alabama actually outgained Ole Miss and had more first downs. It was not quite the dominance that some Ole Miss fans now remember. Ole Miss will have to really outplay Alabama on our home field to leave with a win this time.

5. Referees. Nobody wins the officiating battle like Alabama. We work on it day in and day out, and we have the officials do it over and over till they get it right. We have the most polished officiating in the country, and we will win the penalty game.

So you agree that they've been bad the past two seasons?

They haven't been great, but that doesn't mean that they haven't had really good performances during those two years.

Doesn't matter who you play, 70 points is impressive. Kelly's numbers are the most impressive amongst conference quarterbacks.

But it really does.

that the secondary needs to play better than they have at any point in the past two seasons. That wouldn't really be saying all that much in my estimation.

I'm sorry, I just don't believe that this needs to happen for Alabama to win the football game. I obviously hope that they do play very well, and I think that they will, but I don't think that their margin for error will be so small like you are implying.

I don't expect a lot from Coker all season to be honest.

I didn't really either before the season, but after watching the first game, I think he has the potential to be good enough.

Seeing your offense work so well is never a bad thing, but I've seen us look unbeatable to start some seasons and look like a completely different team when facing tougher defense. You just don't know. Scoring big against weaker teams does not always equate to being able to move the ball against SEC teams.
