whneI was a kid in the 70s I watched an Alabama FB game and became kind of a closet Bama fan because of a player named Major ?? Ogilive ?? I think. whatever happened to him did he have a pro career?

not sure about a pro carrer but he now works for Paul Bryant Jr. in the concrete business.

One of my heroes of former Bama players. Lived in Arkansas as a 14 year old kid when Bama beat Arkansas in the 1980 Sugar Bowl. Major was the MVP.

Got to meet him one time a couple of years ago in Washington, DC and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He came up to me and introduced himself before I had a chance to realize who he was.

Prototypical Bryant player.
