Looks like a push to me. LSU's youth could explode for a good game or implode and lose the game horribly. I have no idea who is going to win.

Theoretically it might be better for LSU to win but its too early to know for sure which outcome gives bama the maximum margin of error in the SEC West.

I think Auburn wins because they are a better team and play at home.

I want LSU to win because I hate Auburn.

Auburn is just as equally flawed as LSU. You know it and I know it but talk won't admit it here.

The struggle between Auburn an LSU hasn't been anywhere close to the same. Auburn has not been manhandled the way LSU was against State for most of the game.

Cute laugh emoji. Care to use words and elaborate on which position units y'all are superior to LSU at besides d-line?

Auburn hasn't played a team close to the talent level of State.

My hate for LSU has diminished since 21-0, also the fact that LSU is in #tdecline makes things easier.

Ever since the IB the Barn has been unbearable. I wouldn't mind LSU shutting them up.

I love the reverse psychology here. That's how you screen your thread to keep them out.

I think Auburn wins a close one. They're offense hasn't clicked yet, but LSU's defense isn't so hot either. I think Harris is a much needed spark for LSU, but Auburn wins at home in the 4th quarter.

I hope LSU wins so that they'll both have a conference loss.

I predict a good, hard fought game on both sides of the ball. Each will get the others best effort. I give Auburn the slight advantage being they are the home team but that's not as big a deal anymore as it used to be. Kids all over the conference have ice water in their veins nowadays.

Auburn is lil bro.
LSU is just another team.

I hope LSU trounces Auburn.

I think Auburn will win though.

I have long since learned not to predict Auburn/LSU so I can't say who will win, but I'll be pulling for LSU because they're my second-favorite team.

The feelings of hate in the Alabama-LSU series are pretty one-sided.

Exactly. This game has all the right ingredients for a patented down to the wire LSU/AU game. I think the over the top confidence from Auburn fans is really just resentment bc of the 3 game losing streak esp last year's defeat.

In all sincerity, this is a fairly accurate statement pre 2007.

Most Bama fans respected the team of LSU up til then. I'd say 95%+ rooted for you to win in '03. No doubt. We admired and have been intrigued with all things Louisiana over the years. Mardi Gras, the French Quarter, the food, the football team, etc.

Then when we hired Saban, it began to change.
From your end.

First, you were all pissy about a coach who brought you a championship going to Bama. You put up billboards, etc.
Even then, for Bama fans, it was all in jest, not a big deal. I think a good deal of Bama fans were glad you even won again in '07.

Then came Bama's NC in '09. The feeling was not reciprocated.
Then 2011 and the national championship and many LSU fans have never let go.

It is only then that some Bama fans have just not been able to put up with the vile from Louisiana now, that hasn't always been there. Then to top it off, you root for our real rival surprisingly almost always.

So, to answer the question, Bama fans will still root for LSU, but you peckerheads don't always make it easy.
