Bama fans: What ended up happening with Roy Upchurch?

I'm assuming he didn't make it in the league. Anybody know what he ended up doing with himself? I liked this kid, I remember him trucking the frick out of some boys in the Virginia Tech or Clemson game a few years ago.

I think he had a few try outs as a free agent and failed a physical.Not sure what he's doing at present.

Was signed by Bmore if I remember correctly and failed the drug test in the physical

It is amazing how all these clean-nosed kids manage to fail drug tests at various SEC schools AFTER college.

The trucking video LINK ... but yeah, I always wondered what happened to him as well. He looked like he was a sure thing for the NFL while at Bama.

I think the drug part is added BS. He had some vertebrae fused due to his injury. The NFL didn't want to take a chance. I think most doctors told him it wasn't a good idea.

His dad owns a restaurant in Tuscaloosa. I think he helps run it.

Nope it was something to do with the drug test part of the physical ill look for the link Bmore newspaper published it I believe it's been a while though
