Watching the replay, to me, it looked like he just breathed.

As I said, maybe I've got crimson glasses on that one. But it was some bad officiating, and on both sides. The block in the back was right in front of the ref on that one return Bama had.

CBS showed the replay in slow motion so it didnt look like much. If you can stomach watching the replay, watch it happen live and you can see him flinch and why they called it.

Well, to begin with that was not the ruling on the field.

The ruling on the field is "incomplete pass".
So yeah, functionally it is the ruling on the field.

I am an Auburn fan and I must say from this picture (non-photoshopped) his foot is clearly out of bounds..

Of course the game was over and this was the back of the end zone.

His foot isn't on the ground in that pic. There was a thread yesterday that slowed it down right there. His foot is like 4 inches off the ground in that still shot. It just looks like it is ob. The next few frames clearly show it in bounds.

If anyone can convince me that they'll go back and give us the win, then I'll hire Johnny Cochran and make the most unbelievable case you've ever seen that Marshall was over the line, the receiver dropped the ball, Yeldon ran out the clock, Griffin's kick was through the uprights, and the return man ran half the field 10 yards out of bounds.

But since none of that matters...to hell with it. Good game auburn.

The kick was legit, so you must acquit.

All Bama fans, quit with the bitching about ref calls unless you want to lower your status to corndoggers or aggies. It's over. Not called == doesn't matter. Stop the quibbling. It's just unseemly.

I love that the LSU fans are getting into the conversation since they have become irrelevant in the West. How long did we hear about the pass that was ruled out of bounds in the Bama game a few years back?
