Is it true yal got Billy Napier to agree to come on board? This terrifies me if true; dude could sell ice to an eskimo, top 10 recruiter in the nation IMO.

He's not technically on the coaching staff. I think he was hired to be a quality control assistant, whatever that means.

Yea some are questioning why he dropped down to a quality control position, but I think it was a smart move personally. His salary is covered by Clemson next year so it's basically a one year opportunity to learn under Saban and improve his resume to get a better position in the future.

The NCAA is kinda hazy on the abilities of support staff members. They are most certainly not allowed to meet recruits off-campus. They are however able to recruit while on-campus as well as call the recruits.
