I am a gump and I am not in denial. I am a realist and if NS leaves us with only 3 natties then he has left the program on solid footing. Only way I would hate the man is if he left us for the coonarse nation or AU.

Step away from the ledge..... lol
No matter what happens. Saban has done for Bama, what he was brought here to do. Shoot, Bama has got that & more so far. If Saban never wins another Chamionship at Bama. It's still a huge success story for all inolved, that simple really.

Me personally, I would love to see Saban become Bama's AD. But if that doesn't happen, I'll thank Saban & Staff for all the hard work and many great memeries.

You came across as a bitter, jealous ex who knows their former spouse is in a MUCH better situation.

How can anyone from Bama respect a guy like Saban? There are more important things than winning and that's called character. Saban has none, nor loyalty, commitment or honor! Hes a complete coward that cares about me, myself and I. Yet, you Gumps still deny that he would ever leave. He wanted to come back to LSU after he failed in Miami and we told him to get lost. Now hes in communication with Texas and you guys just don't care. Amazing GUMPS! That's the difference between Alabama and LSU! Not even a comparison as far as class! Couldn't be more proud of our current and future situation. GEAUX! And good luck to Bama AS ITS ALL DOWNHILL AGAIN AFTER THE FLUCKER SITUATION EXPLODES!

Do you seriously think no school has made contact with Les Miles agent since he has been at LSU?

on the flipside, how dumb is UT to ask Brown if he wants to retire, he says no, then drops the matter of getting a new coach.

What's amazing is everybody taking the timeline of events at face value on this story. I have no doubt contact was made with Sexton, but people just blindly believe these type stories like every single detail is fact. For all we know they contacted 5 or 6 agents, but those wouldn't make for a good story to leak to ESPN. This story was leaked to further solidify the fanbase at Texas against Brown. That is the bottom line. Telling the AP that the regents talked with Will Muschamp's agent would not have created that stir.

As an LSU fan, I just hope Saban is leaving. It makes it easier for LSU. Nothing wrong with wanting that.

A tireless professional committed to being the best at his craft who diligently works to earn the income his employer provides? Yeah. How could anyone respect that?

You sure about this? I know you're connected and all ( ), but I could have sworn that LSU fans said that LSU boosters met with Saban in Monroe, LA when they thought Miles was headed to Michigan in 2007. So either A) they didn't really meet, or B) they were asking if he still thought Nutt would be a good hire. Couldn't have been that they were seeing if HE had interest since LSU "told him to get lost".

quote:

Yet, you Gumps still deny that he would ever leave.

Well, to be fair, you Corndogs have told us that he wouldn't stay more then 3 years. Then that he "has never stayed anywhere longer than 5 years, Gumps. Don't expect him there beyond that". Yet, here he is. Coaching the Tide for a 7th season.

Now hes in communication with Texas and you guys just don't care.

Did it bother you that Miles was "in communication" with Michigan? How about that he was "in communication" with Arkansas?

Nope not at all. He's Michigan alum.

Nope not at all, mostly because a majority of LSU fans are retarded and want Miles gone. I would entertain other offers too if I was Les Miles - way too many LSU "fans" don't deserve the success that Miles has brought.

I think you are just really mad that Saban has a charity and Les doesn't (plus Les' wife is butch).

Saban has accomplished more in his life so far than you would in a billion. Saban is renowned and relevant, you are not. Jealous much? Would you like the Rant to dissect your character?
