Actually, after thinking about it. I'm going to move it down from 7 to 5. The game was close last year. However, these are the reasons I'm moving it down from 7 to 5.

*NOTE: Every football season is different and every season someone is dinged up. But everyone was fricked up on our team, last year.

1.) Julio Jones had a broken hand that he suffered in the South Carolina game.

2.) Mark Ingram was never 100% in 2010 due to a knee injury, in which he missed the first 3 games of the season.

3.) Trent Richardson had a torn abdominal muscle. he tore his MCL in the LSU game.

4.) Greg McElroy was coming off a concussion if I'm not mistaking.

5.) Marcel Dareus had a lingering ankle/foot issue that plagued him during the whole season.

6.) Courtney Upshaw didn't play as much last year because of an ankle injury.

7.) Dont'a Hightower was recovering from a MCL/ACL tear in 09. He wasn't his same self last year.

8.) DeQuan Menzie was coming off a torn achilles tendon in April. He was never 100% in '10.

9.) 'Bama had what 8 first time starters on defense ?

10.) The game was in Baton Rouge.

certainly believe either team could win this game. just a matter of who comes out and makes less mistakes.

also want to point out that i also really enjoy the clear amount of respect that these 2 fan bases have for each others teams going into the game. quite nice to see. hope the game lives up to the hype, and LSU wins of course. haha.

surely you mean worry and not fear? if anyone gets scared because of a football game they've got other problems. i'd answer with about a 5 or 6 (if we're talking about worry). but, most of my feelings about this game lean toward excitement.

Fear, worry, anxiety...I am putting this into a college football fan context, not in the sense of real life issues. I do realize it's a game, for entertainment. I also realize this is a fan message board. I'm not being overly serious here guys, just wanted to gauge things.

But yeah, it could go either way. Vegas has Bama as the favorite and they are right more than wrong. LSU fans have to be pretty confident though. This team just passes the eye test and has been so dominant this year.

i see what you're saying and contrary to popular opinion on here, it's not wrong for EITHER team to be confident. I haven't been this excited for a game since '09 Florida

I think the odds are 70% Bama wins and 28% LSU wins.

I'll have to run that through my equation to come out with my fear level.

(0.70(A)(C)/3.9874B)+ 9/13(frick LSU) =

fear level of 2.8

Let me preface, I'm not a Bama hater... F'baum even said it on his show yesterday, that LSU has the slightly better team. Knowing that LSU has the overall more talented, explosive team (IMHO), I'd like to know your fear level. 10 being most extremely worried, 1 being no fear whatsoever. I think most objective Bama fans, if they are being honest with us, have to have some worry here. Let's keep it civil and level headed in your responses, thanks guys.

You are high if think bama fans or lsu fans are worried about this game.

I am concerned about the refs. True story, for real, serious.

I agree that was an impressive list. However, isn't there a character limit on posts? Maybe that's why LSU fans split them up so much.

If I remember correctly, Alabama's opponents all had bye weeks before playing them. At least five in a row right?

This game concerns me. It could get ugly.

Not excuses, you guys deserved to win last year. I'm just saying we weren't healthy much of last year. However, this year we are more experienced and healthier.

If Alabama comes out and plays like they can play then this game will be decided in the 3rd or early 4th quarter.
Wow!
Kind of like Penn State then.
Good for Bama.

Fear is probably the wrong word. I haven't been fearful of an opponent since Saban arrived. So my fear level would be a 1.

My nervousness is about a 5 or 6. I think Bama is the better team, we're at home, and I think this team is very hungry and determined.

My only fear is about who and how many injuries might come from the game that impact both teams for the rest of the season.

Excitement - 7or8 gonna be a great game and I can't wait to see what both teams bring to it.

I still say Bama wins but it should be close enough that any one mistake could change the outcome either way.
