LMFAO.....an Auburn fan lecturing ANYONE about fan support for basketball is as funny as it gets. You guys literally haven't acknowledged that you've had a basketball program other than a scandal plagued 2 to 3 year run at the turn of the century under serial NCAA cheater Cliff Ellis. Alabama would have to go on about a 10 year run of 15 win seasons and Auburn a similar run of 25 win seasons for Auburn to come close to the resembling the typical pecking order of Alabama/Auburn basketball historically.

Why did you Butt Chuggers hire Donnie Tyndall who was still under investigation for wrongdoing at Southern Miss? And still hired him?

That very well may be the case, but it's not about coaching at this level. It's about recruiting and letting them play. Grant couldn't recruit as evidenced by this roster we have. Time will tell if Johnson can bring in competent players.

Basketball only matters to SEC schools in November like Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn or now... LSU. I guess when you suck at football you have to try and make up for it in other ways.

Lol come on. Dayton is solid and likely a tourney team but let's not act like this is a Final Four contender. Alabama just played really poorly today. No expectations and really doesn't matter on Alabama's end or say anything about Avery Johnson but I don't think Dayton is going to be beating many top 100 teams by 30+ this year.
Tennessee plays GW next week (who beat UVA last night and should be very similar to Dayton) though so we'll find out.

Only speaking for myself. Been a Hawks fan for 15 years, and AU basketball is self exclamatory. Your football program was pretty damn shitty before Saban got there, right? Your fans returned to the internet in droves talking shite from what I remember.

Never said they were a final four contender, just that they're a damn solid team and possibly sweet 16 bound this year. Archie Miller has had them competing at a high level since the '13-'14 year when they made the elite 8.
Anyone trolling Alabama for losing to them is clueless about the game of basketball. Not only is Avery dealing with a much younger and less-talented squad, but he's also taking a team that was built for a slow methodical half-court offense and trying to instill a fast-break uptempo offense

Yep 5-7 (2-6) up to 8-4 (5-3) is "not one bit of improvement." If you watched your own team play us in 2013 and then again this year, you would think that the improvement would be pretty shockingly obvious.
