I thought it was an interesting comment. Wasn't necessarily about our game, just in general. And I think he was definitely directing it more towards Saban than the fans, saying how he recognized something he went through before he retired. Probably has to do with how much pressure is on him to win. I know it would get to me if I were in his position. Except maybe not because I'd still be making $5 million a year

I get what Holtz is saying, and yes, it was strictly for Saban. But he has never been a 'joyous' type coach so I don't know that he's really on target. Maybe, but I don't know.

Still trying to figure out how to work this pos iPhone.

Doesn't matter what holtz says though, he's always spouting off random crap. Unless its about USC or Notre dame.

not a bama fan, but just when i thought i heard it all from lou, he said that saturday night. he acted like he thinks saban should retire, imo he (saban) is in the prime of his career, he might want to change some things, but calling it quits would be foolish.

Don't really understand what he's trying to insinuate. It's just the level Bama's at right now, the level they were at in the 60s and 70s.

The fans are insatiable, but that's sports. There are times that it feels like they're going through the motions; sometimes it takes a loss to remind you of how good you really have it.

I was in tuscaloosa this weekend, the fans are honestly too conditioned to winning...
Winning a game was just another Saturday to them (except LSU)
but when they lost, they didn't know what to do.
When we win or lose we still party Saturday night, but Tuscaloosa seemed like it shut down from depression.
(A lot of this is referring to students)

It's probably not healthy, and it's dumb that people's well being hinges on a football game but that's the culture.

There were more meltdowns that A&M beat UA and we didn't, as opposed to Zach followed up an excellent performance with another against MSU. The guy is on track and it seemed secondary...geez.

He lost one game, and seems fine. LSU fans love talking about shite they have no clue about.
