Bama Fans: Better atmosphere...Iron bowl last year or Saturday?

watching espn 30 for 30 i see the iron bowl last year was crazy, but listening to the tube on saturday people are saying it was the best atmosphere of all time.
for the ones who were there how did they compare?

The LSU game was a better atmosphere throughout the game.

Nothing lately will top the start of the IB last year. Loudest bds has ever been.

This. First half of IB last year was WAY louder than anything during the LSU game.

Exactly. I'm not sure why it is hard for bama fans to admit. Yes the second half must have been quiet, but the 1st half of that game really made people crazy loud.

A close IB is much bigger than a close any other game to the Bammers/Barners

Probably Saturday. There was more on the line for Alabama. Course fukn up AU's season last year would have been nice.

Nothing I've ever seen compares to pre-game/first quarter of the Auburn game last year.

I'm not a Bama fan, but the atmosphere Saturday was better than any I have experienced. It was amazing. I saw Oregon fans that drove from Oregon to watch, we met reps from the Outback bowl. Overall, it was awesome. It was like a bowl game atmosphere.

It was probably a bit louder but not as intense to me. Not to mention it was a beautiful day and there was way more ppl on campus this year. Last year it was cold as shite and cloudy.
